Soda Creek

Soda Creek - Soda Creek began as a Stage Coach road running from Bergen Park to Denver and beyond to the mining camps farther West towards Idaho Springs and Central City. In 1878 John L. Clark homesteaded the land along Soda Creek Road and built his house in 1883. His Widow sold the property to the Humphrey Family and it became the Humphrey ranch. There was a school built where the property bordered on the Bergen Park cross road and remained until about 1945. Soda Creek is Evergreen’s most exclusive subdivision with many homes well beyond the million dollar mark. Although there are some new high-end homes in Soda Creek, many are older homes built 10 to 25 years ago and are in need of renovation or updating. Soda Creek is very conveniently located near the I-70 interchange and boasts of an easy commute to either Denver or Summit County.
