Brook Forest and Craigmont

Brook Forest and Craigmont Colorado are located southwest of Evergreen Village along Brook Forest Road, which itself parallels the Brook Forest Creek. The Brook Forest area was developed in 1916 by Edwin and Rigi Welz, an Austrian couple who built the Brook Forest Inn. They advertised it as “a little bit of Switzerland in the Colorado Rockies,” and so it is. There are many homes in the Brook Forest and Cragmont area which tend to be reasonably priced. A new subdivision is opening up in Cragmont and will offer many nice mountain lots at an affordable price.
