The end of the war brought many typical post-war subdivisions to the Lakewood area. Lakewood is currently the fourth largest city in Colorado. Lakewood has many properties with magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains. Although there are some newer homes, many are older vintage homes and it is a prime turn around and flip area. Lakewood is still considered a wonderful compromise area to those who want to balance all the cultural amenities of Denver without the Denver address.
